According to the U.S. Pharmacopeia, suppositories are solid bodies of various weights and shapes adapted for introduction into the rectal, vaginal or urethral openings of the body. Suppositories are usually formulated to melt or soften or dissolve at body temperature. They are not to be used for oral dosing; they are not designed to be eaten or broken prior to dosing. FeverAll® suppositories are approved for rectal use only.

FeverAll® suppositories deliver the temporary fever and pain-reducing medicine, acetaminophen, through the anal tissues, which are highly vascular (rich in blood supply) and thus take up the medicine into the bloodstream readily for systemic absorption by the entire body. In short, FeverAll® suppositories work systemically to temporarily relieve fever and pain. FeverAll® solves the problem of finding a way to get medicine into your child when they won’t or can't take oral medicines.

  • FeverAll® contains acetaminophen, one of the most recommended nonprescription ingredients for temporary fever and pain relief, in an easy-to-use suppository form.
  • When your infant or child unexpectedly becomes ill (vomiting, stomach flu, after vaccinations, teething pain, etc.) and can't or won't take liquids
  • If your child has a condition that makes swallowing difficult
  • There are times when infants and children can’t or won’t take medication orally. That is why healthcare professionals urge parents to keep FeverAll® suppositories on hand. It’s easy to administer and each suppository contains an accurate, age-appropriate dose.
  • Suppository form ensures accurate dosing every time
  • With suppositories there is no need to measure
  • Prevent worrisome partial dosing due to spilling or spitting out of liquid

You can find FeverAll® at a number of U.S. national chains and your local pharmacy – it’s the only brand of acetaminophen suppository. Please visit the "Where to Buy" section of our website for more information or click here.
