FeverAll® for Infants

80 mg of acetaminophen

FeverAll® Infants’ Strength Suppositories are recommended for infants ages 6 to 36 months to temporarily reduce fever and relieve minor aches, pain and headaches. FeverAll® Infants’ Strength (80 mg of acetaminophen) is the ONLY acetaminophen product with dosing instructions on the package for infants as young as six months of age.

With FeverAll® Infants’ Strength Suppositories on hand, caregivers can be ready to temporarily relieve their infant’s fever and pain at any time, especially when they are refusing oral medication, having swallowing issues or can't keep down oral medication due to vomiting.

Active Ingredients (In Each Rectal Suppository): Acetaminophen, USP (80 mg). Purpose: Pain Reliever/Fever Reducer.

Inactive Ingredients: Glycerol Monostearate, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Polyoxyethylene Stearate, Polysorbate 80.

For infants 6 to 11 months, use 1 suppository every 6 hours. Administer no more than 4 doses in 24 hours.

For infants 12 months to 36 months, use 1 suppository every 4-6 hours. Administer no more than 5 doses in a 24-hour period.

For infants less than 6 months, consult a physician.

  • Fever lasts more than 3 days (72 hours), or recurs.
  • Pain lasts more than 3 days or gets worse.
  • New symptoms occur.
  • Redness or swelling is present in the painful area. These may be signs of a serious condition.

When practical, cleanse area around rectum with mild soap and warm water and rinse thoroughly.

Gently dry by patting or blotting with toilet tissue or a soft cloth before using FeverAll®.

  • Remove wrapper before inserting suppository as follows: hold suppository upright and carefully separate wrapper at pointed end to open.
  • Carefully peel wrapper down both sides evenly, exposing suppository.
  • Avoid excess handling, as suppository is designed to melt at body temperature. Suppositories should not need to be refrigerated if stored below 80º F (27º C).
  • Place child flat on back or on one side with anal opening exposed.
  • Insert suppository gently, well into the rectum.
  • Use fingertip to complete insertion.
